Newsweek managing editor Tom Weber remembers September 11. A reporter for the Wall Street Journal at the time, Weber usually took the subway into the World Trade Center stop. But that day, because the weather was so nice out, he got off at Chambers Street instead. He arrived just a few minutes after the first plane hit the first tower.
