Olympic gold-medal gymanist Gabrielle “Gabby” Douglas • Commenting on a minor controversy that surfaced on the Internet over the weekend, following her history-making, gold-medal winning performance at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Douglas finds herself at the center of multiple debates after becoming the first African-American woman to earn individual all-around gold in gymnastics — but she’s not getting caught up in the hype. “I don’t think people should be worried about that,” says Gabby, adding, “We’re all champions and we’re all winners.
