2. Liz Cheney Announces Senate Bid: Liz Cheney, an outspoken conservative activist and the daughter of former vice president Dick Cheney, announced on Tuesday she will run for Senate in Wyoming.
3. Internet Hates Rolling Stone Cover: The Internet really doesn’t like Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on the cover of Rolling Stone. Critics say that it glamorizes the young Boston bomber, like any heartthrob rock star who’s had the chance to grace the magazine.
4. 22 Kids Die From School Meals in India: Twenty-two schoolchildren are dead and dozens more are ill on Wednesday after eating tainted food as part of a free-lunch program in India’s eastern state of Bihar.
5. Britain Legalized Gay Marriage: Queen Elizabeth II approved the legalization of gay marriage in Britain, the day after the law passed Parliament, although the Church of England still refuses to conduct same-sex weddings.
