Does anyone else find this quote from David Cameron a bit worrisome? I know the UK is reeling from this hacking scandal, but throwing the idea of a free press completely out with the bathwater seems a bit drastic. 

[Cameron] said an inquiry into the workings of the press could begin this summer and lead to a new system of regulation that should be “independent of the press so that the public will know that newspapers will never again be solely responsible for policing themselves.”
