Obama and Brewer Argue: When President Obama arrived in Phoenix on Wednesday, he and Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer immediately got into it at the airport. Brewer told reporters that Obama was upset that her book Scorpions for Breakfast wasn’t “cordial” to him. Sweet title though.
Two Buildings Collapse in Rio: Two buildings collapsed in Rio, including one that was 20 stories high. Officials said three bodies have been recovered, but up to 19 people still remain missing. The cause of the collapse is unclear.
Polls: Romney Leads in Florida: Newt Gingrich’s surge following his South Carolina victory doesn’t seem to have lasted long. According to a new CNN poll, Mitt Romney and Gingrich are essentially tied. 
French Implant Maker Arrested: Jean-Claude Mas, the head of the defunct Poly Implant Prothese, was arrested before dawn in France Thursday in connection with his company’s use of industrial-grade silicone in tens of thousands of breast implants.  
Apple Audits: China  Labor Unsafe: As speculation about the iPhone 5 kicks into gear, The New York Times looks into the often brutal factory conditions that make such rapid improvement possible. Apple’s own audits found that hundreds of its supply factories in China require employees—some as young as 15—to work more than 60 hours a week, or more than 6 days a week, sometimes in deadly conditions.
