Tauranga, New Zealand: Debris floats around the stricken cargo ship, Rena, as it sinks after splitting in half amid bad weather. Rena struck the Astrolabe Reef off the coast of Mt. Maunganui on October 5, 2011 and has spilled 350 tons of oil, and almost 100 shipping containers.
